Aims & Scope

The Turkish Journal of Traumatic Stress is committed to publishing research that advances understanding, prevention, and treatment of psychological trauma and related stress conditions. The journal reaches a broad audience, including professionals and researchers in psychiatry, psychology, trauma studies, neuroscience, pharmacology, genetics, molecular biology, and related fields. Our mission is to serve as an academic platform for Turkish contributions to the field of traumatic stress and to promote the exchange of knowledge on an international scale.

The journal welcomes submissions of articles that utilize experimental and correlational methods, as well as qualitative analyses when relevant.

All research reports should demonstrate methodologically sound designs that aim to significantly improve the understanding of trauma in the field. Such reports must be grounded in strong theoretical foundations and integrate both theory and empirical data. Manuscripts should be sufficiently detailed to ensure a high level of theoretical and methodological rigor.
